Special interest in working with injuries of shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle,  post-op rehabilitation, traumatic injuries, sports injuries, return to sport.

James is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist which is a designation held by less than five percent of all current practicing physical therapists. This certification recognizes physical therapists with advanced diagnostic and clinical practice skills that lead to reaching the patient’s goals with fewer visits and less expense to the patient. He has also attended the Folsom Physical Therapy Long Term Program where he was able to sharpen his manual treatment and assessment skills. Most recently James became a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy. Less than 1% of physical therapists hold this designation and he is the only physical therapist who holds this board certification in Placer/Nevada County. Sports physical therapists are recognized as being the premier resource for recreational and professional athletes for their rehabilitation, training guidance, and injury prevention programs.
